With Potts, Every Trip is an Adventure

We drove home from Seattle by way of the Wheatland area near Palouse, Washington (about thirty minutes south of Spokane.)
Potts had heard this area was a photographic MUST!
Palouse Falls

We found ourselves alone on a country road with the most gorgeous sunset that enveloped the entire sky.

We drove on in the dark. Fearing that we were missing the best scenery, we stopped at the nearest hotel in Colfax.

Potts was up before sunrise to scout out the hills nearby.

He picked me up from the hotel at a more earthly hour and we went on our way through the most unique countryside! So BEAUTIFUL! Imagine all this when the wheat fields are green! We are coming back in the early summer.
 Love this fence!
