A New Pioneer Day Tradition

Can't have memories if you don't make them; that's what I say. So I invited the family over for a dutch oven brunch and swim party. Only problem is, we let the Scotts borrow our trailer for the week and the dutch ovens were packed inside! Oh well, Gooey Rolls are pretty good in the regular oven too. No one seemed too distraught.
Kylie, with the big blue eyes.

Little Evylee with Aunt Emily. (She won't let me call her "Auntie Em.")

Where's Audrey?

First thing Lily asks for when she comes to Gammie's House: the "Purple Slippers" of course. She also likes to wear Gammie's "Slip Slops."

Three adorable little girls. Notice Kylie. She isn't even one yet, isn't walking yet, but look at her climb that slide!

Audrey's guy friends came for a swim in the afternoon.
One of these things is not like the others -- He just came home from a mission. Can you tell which one?

Recipe:  GOOEY ROLLS

Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray. (Or oil the dutch oven.) Sprinkle one box of cook and serve butterscotch pudding (NON instant) evenly on the bottom of the pan. Arrange 16-20 frozen rolls over the pudding. Melt 3/4 cup sugar with 1/2 cup butter. Pour over rolls. Let rise overnight. In the morning, bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

  1. Kathryn, I just bought the new Mormon Tabernacle Choir CD, I opened the CD jacket and found a picture of the choir and orchestra with you and Audrey! I love my new CD and the music has been so uplifting and inspiring. Thanks for all the hard work you put into the project that blesses the lives of people like me!
